The Ashe County (NC) Wildlife Club is located in the mountains in "The Coolest Corner of North Carolina" with Virginia to our north and Tennessee to our west. We have a club house with bathrooms and 30 shooting benches looking down a 300-yard rifle range that is the newest range on the International Benchrest Shooting circuit. We also offer all of the shotgun sports with a 5-Stand shooting stand, a skeet field, and pyramid trap. We also have a pistol range with 12 movable target stands, plus two steel knockdown stands featuring a total of 12 knockdown targets. Membership is $100 per year ($125 for first year members) with a range of membership plans also available. All club members must belong to the National Rifle Association. We meet the third Monday of each month February - October at the club house (approximately 15 miles from downtown Jefferson) at 7:00 p.m. Out of Town Visitors are welcome to shoot at any of our ranges when accompanied by a member. Just call 336-977-2490 to set up your visit with us.
